Hibs Scotland Under 21 striker Steven Fletcher has reportedly attracted the interest of Premiership side Bolton Wanderers.
New Reebok Stadium manager Gary Megson has targeted the striker to help solve his side’s goalscoring problems.
The striker has netted seven SPL strikes this season and scored for the Scotland Under 21’s during Saturday’s convincing 4-0 demolition job on Slovenia.
20 year old Fletch is highly rated by his own boss John Collins and the National side’s coaching staff are also impressed with the youngster who made his debut 3 seasons ago for the Easter Road club.
Whether or not the player is keen on such a move would be debatable.
With Wanderers currently in a relegation fight Fletcher may decide to bide his time at Easter Road for the next few years after seeing fellow strikers Derek Riordan and Gary O’Connor struggle once they left the Hi-bees.
The unwelcome bid is thought to be a structured deal in excess of £2million as Bolton bid to add new faces during the January transfer window.

Bolton huh? Not really a great club, in my opinion.
Your right its not. Reading the Vital news i thought this was an article about Darren Fletcher. Who isnt even good enough to play for Gretna never mind Bolton.
When will Hibs start keeping their best players. I feel sorry for you fans.
Wasn’t this pretty inevitable though when he recently signed a new contract. He signs on the understanding that he’s allowed to go when an offer of £x comes in. Everone’s a winner except the fans of course who see their team depleted again.
is he still there or has he moved on
