Hibs have confirmed Patrick Noubissie will make his debut for the club today in a reserve outing against city rivals Hearts.

Noubissie was signed in the summer as a free agent after manager John Collins had seen him turn out against Hibs as a trialist in a closed door encounter against Livingston.

The Frenchman was immediately sent back to Almondvale on loan, ironically the venue of todays reserve outing.

It’s fair to say his spell at Livingston was pretty uneventful, latterly finding himself on the Lions bench.

Steven Fletcher meanwhile is set to make his debut for Scotland B in a clash against the Republic of Ireland at Airdrie tonight.

The striker, linked with a move to Bolton over the weekend is a certain starter with National boss Alex McLeish admitting he is one he ‘has his eye on’.

John Collins has said he is willing to let the fringe players at the club leave for periods on loan.

Refusing to name the players he’d be willing to leave in order to gain valuable first team football he said ‘There are a number that we are thinking about because it might be a good idea for their progress. I think getting first-team football under their belts would be good for them.

‘I don’t want to talk about individuals but there are three or four that we are thinking about. Rather than not playing games it’s the perfect opportunity for them to get competitive first-team games.’

Sean Lynch, Damon Gray, Darren McCormack, Keigan Ayre and Jordan Cropley are thought to be those players interesting several lower league clubs.
