The Edinburgh Derby Scottish Cup tie will be shown live on Sky with the broadcaster confirming the match is now scheduled to kick off at 12:30pm on Sunday February 12th.

Moving the game for the satellite giants at least means thousands of ticketless Hibees can follow proceedings as they happen as they look to continue the defence of the trophy won last May.

The tie is a repeat of last season’s Fifth Round draw where a Jason Cummings goal won a replay at Easter Road following a 2-2 draw at Tynecastle where Hibs came back from 2 down with ten minutes to play to snatch a more than deserved draw and it’s a result which still rankles the Gorgie faithful.

Hibs comfortably saw off a potential banana skin in the Fourth Round when they defeated East Superleague outfit Bonnyrigg Rose 8-1, ironically also at Tynecastle, whilst it took a replay and extra time for the Jambo’s to see off Championship strugglers Raith Rovers.

Hearts will be seeking their first victory in 6 derbies when the game kicks off with Hibs having recorded 2 victories with 3 draws in the past five encounters.
