The Scottish Sun is reporting Hibs have secured the signature of Dylan Bikey following his trial at Easter Road fending off competition from Championship rivals Dundee United and Morton in the process.

The French striker has starred for League Two outfit Stirling Albion since arriving back in November and caught the eye of scouts with his goal a game record for The Bino’s, netting nine in nine subsequently helping the Forthbank outfit off the bottom of the table.

At just 21 years of age the player may be seen as one for the future but he’s described as having electric pace which is a commodity in short supply at any level of football in modern times so hopefully full time training can assist in helping to develop him into a top class forward as he obviously has an eye for a goal.

Despite the suggestion the player has agreed to sign, Bikey can only join on a full time deal once a compensation package is agreed with FC Dieppe who currently hold his signature with Bikey registering as an amateur in order to turn out for Albion.

So despite the reports in The Sun claiming he’d agreed terms with us he actually signs for Hearts?!! What a strange story this has been! Hope we’ve not missed a trick with this guy- only time will tell.
