Hibs are poised to complete a loan deal for Genoa midfielder Stephane Omeonga according to Italian journalists.
The 5 times capped Belgian Under 21 international has reportedly said his farewell to team mates ahead of a move to Scotland after being told he will not be part of The Rossoblu’s first team for the remainder of the campaign.
A product of the Anderlecht youth academy, Omeonga moved to Avellino prior to a £500,000 switch to Genoa in the summer of 2017 however the player who operates in the centre of the park has made only 4 appearances for the Serie A side.
The 6′ tall star is also eligible to play for the DR Congo and his current contract runs until 2022 with the Italian outfit.
