Coventry City are lining up a move for Hibs centre half Paul Hanlon according to the Scottish Sun.

Sky Blues boss Steven Pressley is reportedly weighing up a move for the former Scotland under 21 skipper who’s absence from the side through injury last season coincided with the Hibees dismal loss of form.

Pressley worked wonders with City last year and, if the story is to be believed, is looking to team the 24 year old up with former capital rival Andy Webster at the heart of the Coventry defence.

New Hibees Head Coach Alan Stubbs is sure to want to fight off any interest from the League One outfit as he seeks to lead Hibs back to the Premiership at the first time of asking following their relegation to the Scottish Championship.

Meanwhile, Hibs are likely to confirm Wigan first team coach John Doolan as assistant to Stubbs today with the Liverpool born former defender already having arrived at the club’s Training Centre at East Mains.
