Shelton OK to face Celtic

Shelton Martis WILL be fit to face Celtic at the weekend, after being subbed last night in the CIS cup.

Mogga told the EEN, ‘Shelton had ice on his calf at half-time and we did not want to take any chances. At 3-0 we felt the game was won and with a game at the weekend we didn’t want to take a chance with anyone who had a knock. He’ll be fine and back training tomorrow.’

The news that it’s not a serious injury our new defender has is a welcome boost ahead of our match with celticfootballclub, as he has looked solid since signing.

Of course, Hibs cruised to a 4-0 win last night against Third division Peterheed, with goals coming from Rob Jones(not a OG thanks!!), Benji, Scott Brown, and a Jinky penalty. It could and should have been much more, but once again this season, let a lot of good chances to go waste – I for one hope we get a penalty box striker who can stay fit, very very soon!

Of course the greatest ever team ever in the history of football ever, no make that sport, ever, Hearts were not playing last night, as they are preparing to get their erses felt against AEK Athens tonight. I think I’ll watch this comedy tonight for two reasons. One, I’m in need of a good laugh, and two, I need to watch for all the crimes against football and how much the hatred and picking on Hearts has spread throughout football, cos everybody picks on Hearts you know. It’s all just SO UNFAIR….Aye right then. The sooner they realise that their NOT a big team, and no one actually gives a flying fig about them the better.

Still good to laugh at them though!
