Hibs are still interested in young Chelsea keeper Yves Makabu-Makalambay even though the 20-year-old returned to London at the weekend after just a few days in Edinburgh.
The Belgian keeper sat on the bench as Chelsea thumped Macclesfield 6-1 in the third-round of the FA Cup as boss Jose Mourinho rotated his squad.
However, boss John Collins said: “Unfortunately we’ve only seen him in action for a few days in training but we will have another look at him in the future.”
Standing at 6ft5in, Makabu-Makalambay is under contract with Chelsea until 2009 and his name was passed on to Collins by one of his contacts south of the border.
