Hibs Arrange Gala Friendly

Hibs have agreed to a friendly match against Lowland League outfit Gala Fairydean Rovers on Tuesday 17th January.

The Hibees will send down a squad made up of mainly development squad players but some first team members who require to build up match fitness will also be involved.

Danny Handling, Alex Harris, Scott Martin and Jordan Forster are a few who could travel to the Borders town which will be played on a 3G surface at Netherdale, 7:30pm kick off.

Gala boss Steven Noble told the GFR website
“We are delighted to get a second opportunity to play Hibs this season. Their development squad is one of the best in the country whilst their first team are clear favourites to win the Championship this season.

‘Eddie May (Hibs Head of Academy Coaching) has promised to send a strong side with first team players such as Danny Handling getting a chance to aid their recovery and battle for a place in Neil Lennon`s starting team.”

Entry will be £3 for adults, concessions £1 while accompanied children gain free admittance.
