Fixture Change Announced

The last meeting of the season between the Championship’s current top two has been switched for live TV coverage.

Dundee United face Hibs on Friday March 10th in what could prove to be a crunch match in the race for automatic promotion and it will be broadcast live by BT Sports with a 7:45pm kick off.

Remarkably it’ll be the third time in a row the two title favourites have gone head to head on a Friday night with Hibs running out convincing victors less than a week ago when a brace from Jason Cummings and a John McGinn strike gave the Hibees an unflattering 3-0 victory in front of a sell out Hibernian support.

The previous meetings between the sides had seen a 1-1 draw at Easter Road before a late Simon Murray penalty gave United a rather undeserved all three points in the return game.

Hibs currently have a four point lead over the Arabs at the summit of the Championship and face Dumbarton at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium this weekend whilst their nearest challengers, United, face Queen of the South at Tannadice.
