Hibs boss Terry Butcher is likely to find out whether or not he has a future as manager of the club later today following a second day of talks with CEO Leeanne Dempster.
Butcher oversaw a dramatic fall from mid table safety in the Premiership to lead the Easter Road side to relegation, allowing a 2-0 first leg lead to be squandered in the play-off against Hamilton in the final match of the season.
His performance since being appointed in November has been the subject of scrutiny by the supporters with many believing he should do the honourable thing and walk away from the club.
The most recent survey ran on Vital Hibs showed an overwhelming majority, some 81%, want to see the Englishman relieved of his duties.
Currently the main stream media are camped out in the club car park awaiting news of Butcher’s fate whilst under pressure chairman Rod Petrie is also believed to be within the stadium.
