A swap deal has seen Alex Harris and Martin Boyle swap clubs with our man going to Dundee and Boyle coming to us, both in loan switches until the end of the season.
By signing for Dundee Harris steps up to spend the second half of the season on loan in the Premier League but Alan Stubbs has moved to stress on the official website that this is only a temporary switch with the midfielder still very much in his first-team plans going forward.
This move is one that Stubbs feels will benefit the 20-year-old and prove the right move for us too going forward.
Boyle himself is looking forward to playing a part for us, he said: ‘I’m really looking forward to playing for Hibs on loan – it has been brilliant so far. The manager has been first class and says he wants me to express myself.
‘My objective is to help the team to go up into the Premiership and use my pace to create opportunities and to score goals.’
Boyle came on to make his debut late in one-one draw with Hearts at the weekend.
