Lewis Allan has departed Easter Road after agreeing to join near neighbours Edinburgh City on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 20 year old striker was previously on loan at League One outfit Livingston however he featured only four times as a substitute for The Lions without troubling the scoresheet.
A once promising youngster, Allan has now moved to the basement division of Scottish football in a bid to reignite a career blighted by injury and having spent time on loan at Forfar and Dunfermline, equally without success, over the past 18 months you feel this may be the last chance saloon for the kid.
