Hibs may make a move to sign out of contract striker Tony Watt after inviting the player to use the East Mains training facility.

Watt, recently released by OH Leuven, is currently searching for a tenth club of his career despite being only 24 and can include teams such as Celtic, Blackburn Rovers and local rivals Hearts in his resume.

Doubt remains over his eligibility to take part in this season’s finale as the announcement regarding his contract termination with the Belgian outfit was only made official after the transfer window was shut.

Once one of the hottest properties in the Scottish game, Watt has seen his stock fall from the highs of scoring against Barcelona to featuring for an Ian Cathro led team of journeymen.

The striker has of course played under current Hibs boss Neil Lennon during his tenure at Parkhead and will be hoping to resurrect his career under the Irishman should he impress during his time at the training centre.
