David Wotherspoon could be in line to win a second consecutive SPL goal of the month award following his success in September for a strike against Inverness Caley.

The Hibs midfielder netted stunning strikes against both Dundee and Motherwell during October and both goals have been included in the month’s top ten.

20 year old ‘Spoony’ has regained his form this season following a difficult 2011/12 which saw him relegated to the bench and missing out on the Scottish Cup Final squad.

Now an integral part of Pat Fenlon’s side Wotherspoon faces competition for the award from players such as Inverness star Iain Vigurs, Celtic’s Victor Wanyama and Hearts full back Danny Grainger.

Voting ends on November 25th.
