Skacel : Classless, Disrespectful, SFA Ban?

Rudi Skacel is without doubt a talented football player but his behaviour towards not only his current club Dundee United and continued goading of the Hibernian support leaves the player somewhat branded an immature and childish being.

Having signed a short term deal with the Arabs last month, the man who played for Hearts in last season’s Scottish Cup Final victory over Hibs requested he be given the number 51 jersey in reference to the Jambo’s finest day.

The Czech’s display during the Hibs v Dundee United match summed up his look at me attitude and shows great disrespect to his current employers.

His obsession with Hearts seems to be never ending and whilst warming up during the second hand took great delight in jogging past the Hibs support in the West stand continually brushing the 51 on his training top.

After being brought on as a 56th minute substitute it was evident the player was desperate to score against the Easter Road outfit and the United faithful must be wondering why he doesn’t try so hard in any other fixture in which they’ve seen him to date.

Late on in the game Skacel provoked further ire from the home stands with a blatant 5-1 sign towards the Hibs support before appearing to try to headbutt Hibernian midfielder Jorge Claros.

It would appear obvious the SFA disciplinary panel should look into both these matters, especially given Hibs manager Pat Fenlon received a two game touchline ban for as equally a trivial an offence as the hand gesture with Leigh Griffiths also having served suspensions after trial by TV.

Skacel wasn’t keen to leave the park at full time without one further gesture of contempt towards the Hibs fans, turning his back, lifting his shirt and pointing to the number 51.

Yes Rudi, classless, disrespectful and banned.
