Rangers eager to sign Hibs pair

Hibs midfielders Scott Brown and Kevin Thomson are now being targeted by Rangers, according to reports.

The claim, made in the Daily Record, comes just days after boss John Collins issued a ‘hands-off’ warning to Premiership side Charlton who, along with Everton, are also thought to be interested in the pair.

Brown, 21, and Thomson, 22, are both on long-term contracts and are considered an integral part of Hibs’ future. Collins has stressed that the club are not desperate for the cash that any sale would create.

If Rangers are to sign the players, they may have to spend more than the £3million Charlton are prepared to spend to secure the services of Brown and Thomson.
