Hibs striker Simon Murray has completed a loan move to fellow Premiership outfit Dundee in a move which sees Scott Allan’s return to Easter Road inch a little closer.

Murray, scorer of 14 goals in 28 games for the Hibees this season was subject of a bid from a Turkish outfit earlier in the transfer window which was rejected by Neil Lennon but the arrival of both Jamie McLean and Florian Kamberi sees the hard working forward make a move to the Dark Blues.

Having also played for Dundee’s city rivals United prior to his summer move to Leith, Murray will be hoping to hit the ground running for his new club and will hope to make his debut for his new club on Saturday in a relegation battle against Ross County.

The most memorable strike of his short lived career at Easter Road was undoubtedly the winner against Hearts back in October will look to make a similar impact for the Dens outfit.
