Hibs boss Neil Lennon has won the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship manager of the month award following an unbeaten spell.

The Hibees gaffer was rewarded after watching his side dismantle title rivals Dundee United 3-0 at Easter Road then secure two narrow 1-0 victories in tricky away ties at Dumbarton and Queen of the South.

Hibs currently sit eight points clear at the top of the table and are unbeaten in their last 7 league matches whilst also disposing of East Superleague outfit Bonnyrigg Rose on Scottish Cup duty during the run which stretches back to the beginning of December.

It’s Lennon’s second monthly managerial award since being appointed back in June after collecting the prize for August after a flying start to the campaign.

Hibs will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run this Saturday when they face Ayr United at Easter Road on league duty, a week before they face city rivals Hearts in a much anticipated Scottish Cup encounter.
