Leeann Dempster has challenged Rudi Skacel to make an official complaint to Hibs following his infantile outburst, reported by most media outlets on Thursday, where he claimed to be the subject of prejudicial comments from Hibs supporters during Raith Rovers recent 1-1 draw at Easter Road.

A divisive figure in terms of the Edinburgh football scene Skacel tends to integrate himself with the maroon half of the city with often ill judged and false claims regarding Hibs and while his latest outburst comes as no great surprise given his previous attempts at winding up Hibbies most of his comments are blatantly untrue and aimed at continuing an unhealthy obsession with all things green, much like many who follow the Gorgie outfit if their online forum Kickback is genuinley representative of the Tynecastle outfit’s support. One would hope it isn’t.

The mainstream media don’t help matters by publishing such diatribe without first seeking comment from Hibs, who as Dempster correctly points out, sees no mention of any abuse within the official match records submitted to the SPFL.

Skacel of course is a typical footballing nomad whereby instead of many clubs supporters respecting him for footballing ability, fans of the other clubs he’s played at believe him to have been mediocre at best with a heart the size of a pea. The one and only place he’s been semi successful was at Tynecastle during an era of success paid for by a Lithuanian crook who’s time in charge saw not only ‘The Famous’ rip off charities and local businesses but taxpayers in both the UK and the Baltics.

His antics when Hearts were in administration were a source of entertainment for Hibs fans as rather than helping the club out through a healthy donation he felt a photo opportunity working behind a Tollcross bar where he pulled a few pints and flashed a couple of 5-1’s would endear him to the Jambo’s faithful furthermore and sadly, the more gullible amongst them fell for it whilst the bar owner was no doubt delighted to have swelled his coffers on what would have been a fairly quiet night otherwise.

Hibs CEO Dempster has however called the Czech out following his latest hissy fit and, as reported in The Scotsman, said: “I read the comments and took the opportunity to look at the official match documents of the SPFL, and speak to our safety officer.

“It was confirmed that nothing was reported to us. I certainly wasn`t aware of anything on the day and did not hear anything.

“However, if Rudi feels like he would like to make a complaint to the club then he is free to do that. We take any unacceptable conduct very seriously, from any of our supporters. Equally, I would say that applies to players as well.”

Let’s see if Rudimentalcase will back his allegations by making an official complaint.

One has to doubt it as quite simply, his version of events didn’t happen.
