Hibs know that defeat against Rangers will ‘hand’ rivals Hearts the title! Even though it’s a formality, and has been for sometime, that our rivals will win it we would sooner the won it themselves!

Alan Stubbs pre-Rangers: Click Here.

More pressingly we’ll be looking to extend our unbeaten run, which stands at 15-matches at the moment, further to all but secure second place ahead of Rangers so the game at Easter Road today is more important to us for that reason.

We go into this one without and new injury or suspension concerns so Alan Stubbs knows were in good shape as far as the Championship table goes and those that he can select from.

Rangers will be without the injured Richard Foster (hernia), Seb Faure (knee) and Steven Smith (back). Haris Vuckic (leg) returns but the other four loanees from Newcastle will all miss out – Kevin Mbabu (fitness), Gael Bigirimana (infection), Remie Streete (ear infection/muscle strain) and Shane Ferguson (knee).

A repeat of our two-nil win last month would do very nicely wouldn’t it? But will we manage this!
