Ultimately Hearts will have the bragging rights this season but Hibs have the chance to have the final say against our Edinburgh rivals in the derby on Sunday as we look for our first win after a loss and two draws so far.

We’ll not want the Champions to rub our noses in it any more by coming to Easter Road and also beating us, in a game that we know we could do with replicating what Ranger did last Sunday – beat Hearts! – to keep alive our chances of finishing second in the Championship.

Dylan McGeouch (ankle) and Scott Robertson (hamstring) will be back in contention for us again but there’s a major doubt over Keith Watson (hamstring) with vice captain David Gray (hamstring) a few weeks away from a return to fitness.

Jordon Foster returned, as we ended a three-match losing run, at Dumbarton and should be involved again with Farid El Alagui, after first start in over seven-month, also set play a part again and possibly from the off?

Hearts rested the likes of Genero Zeefuik, Alim Ozturk, Jamie Walker and Osman Sow on Wednesday but are set to recall all three on Sunday.

Can Hibs enjoy Edinburgh derby success for the first time this season, at a time that it couldn’t be better to do so in order to try and keep Rangers at bay? We’ll be hoping so but can we do it?
