Hibs meet Falkirk at lunchtime today with a place in the Scottish Cup final up for grabs, potentially we’re, and they are too mind, 90-minutes from the showpiece final.

If we’re going to do this though we’ll have to overcome our Championship rivals at Hampden Park, which isn’t by any means a certainty is it.

Alan Stubbs isn’t thought to have any major injury concerns going into this one with the return of Farid El Alagui (Achilles tendon) recently coming at exactly the right time.

He continued his return from an injury, sustained in August, with a goal in our Edinburgh derby win over Hearts last Sunday and we’ll be looking for another when he faces his former side.

Falkirk have doubt over Rory Loy (ankle), he’s not played since a ¼ final win. John Baird (ineligible) is out with Botti Biabi (mumps) a doubt again.

A repeat of the semi final from a couple of years ago when we came back from three-goals down at half time to eventually win four-three would do, well a win anyway! But so far this season we’ve drawn twice, and lost once, against Falkirk in the Championship.

Can today be our day in the Scottish Cup?
