Can you help the broader Hibernian support to once again come together to assist in activating an ambitious plan ahead of the December derby?

Die-hard fans are attempting to raise £2000.00 for an impressive display that should, if the plan comes to fruition, drape across the entire Famous Five Stand for the Heart of Midlothian Premiership fixture on Saturday 29 December.

The organisers have sourced the cost of the materials. However, nothing comes for free, and so those in-charge are hoping to recoup something towards their exciting endeavour.

The source said: “There’s a lot of work to be done in creating these and therefore looking to order everything by the end of October. We’re pushing our fundraising activity through the running of buses, football cards and donations from those involved in the Group.

“If you’re able and would like to support, we’d welcome donations to be made through one of the below methods:”

“Any funds raised over and above what’s required will be split equally and donated to Kicks For Kids and Dnipro Appeal.

“Thanks for your continued support.”

The Famous Five Stand

For those who don’t follow or support Hibernian FC – the Famous Five is a collective term for former late 1940’s and 1950’s players Gordon Smith, Bobby Johnstone, Lawrie Reilly, Eddie Turnbull, and Willie Ormond.

The Easter Road North Stand was named in their honour when it was rebuilt in 1995.
