Hibs boss Pat Fenlon has confirmed the club would be interested in Vancouver Whitecaps star Kenny Miller should his club make him available for loan.

Miller has fallen down the pecking order for the MLS outfit whose season has now ended, with the Scotland striker said to be keen on a return to Easter Road.

The 31 year old began his career in Leith before securing a £2 million move to Rangers and had previously stated he’d like to end his career at the club.

It seems Fenlon is aware of the player and he told the Scotland on Sunday “It`s been mentioned to me in the last few days but it`s
not something we`ve actively done anything about.

“Is he available and does he want to come and play for us? You never know. He`s a fantastic player and we look at all options to try and improve the team.”

65 times capped by Scotland, Miller has been well travelled throughout his career with spells at Wolves, Celtic, Rangers, Bursaspor, Derby, and Cardiff prior to making his move to Canada in July.
