Hibs will make the short journey south to take on Carlsle United in a pre-season encounter on Sunday, August 1st.

The match at Brunton Park is due to take place in between Hibs Europa League qualifying matches which are scheduled for July 29th and August 5th.

Kick off time has been arranged for 2pm which should allow a healthy travelling support to follow the Hibees to Cumbria.

However with the game being played prior to a second leg encounter on the European stage Hibs may field a mixture of fringe and youth players against the Blues.

Ironically the fixture could see a quick return to Carlisle for defender Richard Keogh in whom Hibs are reportedly interested in signing.
