Heart of Midlothian injury news
Great news for the hordes of Hibs supporters is that the league’s in-form striker Steven Naismith is going to miss Wednesday evening’s fixture after he limped off of the field vs. Celtic.
The Edinburgh Evening news had Craig Levein as saying following their 3-0 defeat: “Steven felt something in his knee.”
“He’s had a couple of serious operations a while back, and he wasn’t feeling too good about it. We need to get an investigation done to find out what the problem is, but it looks like he’ll be out for at least a couple of games.”
Meanwhile, their 28-year-old defender Clevid Dikamona will need to be assessed early on Wednesday morning to see whether he has recovered from a dead leg which he sustained in the semi-final.
Fellow defender Peter Haring is nursing a painful hernia and could be another doubt.
Long-term casualties Uche Ikpeazu, John Souttar, Christophe Berra and Jamie Brandon, are still crocked and will not take any part.
