Hibernian are represented in the latest Scottish Professional Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The best eleven was selected by Craig Fowler.

The performance by Paul Hanlon in the three one victory over St Mirren at the weekend at Easter Road was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Scottish League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Hanlon was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the SPFL blurb read.

‘The centre-back was his usual composed self as Hibs got the better of St Mirren in Saturday`s clash. Hanlon was just as good at starting attacks as he was at ending them.’

It’s always good to see us represented in this way, and well played to Hanlon for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the three points.

Full Team:

Scott Fox (Ross County), Mark Durnan (Dundee United), Ben Richards-Everton (Dunfermline Athletic), Paul Hanlon (Hibernian), Blair Spittal (Dundee United), Ryan Dow (Dundee United), Jackson Irvine (Ross County), Kyle Wilkie (East Fife), Gary Mackey-Steven (Celtic), Barrie McKay (Rangers), Jordan Preston (Ayr United).
