Alan Gow has revealed he’s keen to be reunited with former boss John Hughes at Easter Road which would mean a third spell under his management.

The 27 year old, who played under Yogi at Falkirk as well as last season during his loan spell at Hibs, is hoping a deal can be ironed out when the Hibees return from their pre-season tour of Holland.

“Hibs are away in Holland at the moment and they just left on Thursday so I will have to wait until he (Hughes) returns,’ Gow told the Clydebank Post.

“Of course I would like to join Hibs,’ the former Rangers man continued.

“I know the management well and I`m friendly with a lot of the players.

“We will just need to see what happens.

“It was a good experience playing for Hibs last season.

“It was good to be back playing and being back home as well.

“Unfortunately I was injured last season so I did not play as often as I should have but I am fine now.”

Gow signed on loan in January making just 8 league and cup appearance after injuries restricted his availability and scored a solitary goal in the 5-1 Scottish Cup victory over Montrose.

Newly appointed Plymouth boss Peter Reid released the player last week following talks between the pair resulted in Gow stating he wished to continue his career in the SPL.

Hughes previously admitted his interest in the midfielder cum striker following his departure from the Pilgrims however hinted he may have to let a couple of players move on prior to making a move.

Since making those comments only Kevin McCann has left the club and even then only on a short term loan to newly promoted SPL outfit Inverness Caley.
