Sunday’s Edinburgh Derby at Easter Road will most likely be a sell out with Hibs reporting only a few tickets left for sale at close of business on Thursday night.
The eagerly anticipated game sees Mixu Paatelainen’s men head confidently into action on the back of a good run of form which has seen only Rangers inflict defeat on the Easter Road side in their last four outings.
Victories away to Aberdeen and Hamilton and a home success over Dundee United see Hibs fans hopeful of inflicting a heave defeat on their rivals whose last performance on the road saw them annihilated at Tannadice whilst a defeat at home to Kilmarnock at Tynecastle last time out seems to suggest the Jambo’s are struggling for form.
In which case it seems a surprise Hearts have managed to sell their allocation of 3750 tickets for a fixture in which their supporters are often posted missing.
Hibs will sell the remaining few tickets by Sunday and a cracking afternoon’s entertainment should lie ahead for the thousands at Easter Road and those watching live on Setanta Sports.
