With Hibs currently a little goal shy and manager Neil Lennon looking to bolster his attacking options one has to imagine Michael O’Halloran is a fairly attractive proposition.

Having been freed by Aussie outfit Melbourne City earlier this month he would appear to tick a few boxes in the hunt for another forward.

With Martin Boyle having been ruled out for the season Lennon needs to strengthen his strike force and given O’Halloran can play off the striker, wide or as a traditional centre forward then the appeal to pick up a player with plenty Scottish Premiership experience for free should surely be appealing.

The 28 year old former Rangers and St Johnstone man rather surprisingly flopped Down Under however he was hampered by injury during his 18 month spell in the Victoria capital.

A short term deal until the summer could benefit both parties with the player keen to show he’s capable of resurrecting a career which has stagnated bar a brief return to Perth in 2017 following a £500,000 move to Ibrox.
