It took a while for the breakthrough to come but when it did Hibs eventually saw our a win at Queen of the South of Saturday afternoon to come away from Palmerston Park with all three-points.

Two-goals, both in the last half a hour, proved enough to give us this two-nil win and move us to within two-points of second placed Rangers who again had a game postponed….

Russell went close to giving the hosts and early lead by his effort hit the post and after seeing Robertson denied by a clearance off the line, Cummings by an offside flag and Fontaine also denied by a goal line clearance we were given another chance to take the lead.

With Cummings brought down in the area McGeouch (63) stepped up to make no mistake from the penalty spot to give us the lead. After Boyle had been denied by the post the points were secured when Robertson (75) made it two.

Now it’s hard to pick out a ‘Man of the Match’, who was this for us in this game – that’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote. Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer us the most?

Select the name that you want from the list in the MotM poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking, and the game itself, with some views below.
