Hibs boss Neil Lennon has confirmed what we suspected – defender Paul Hanlon, club captain David Gray and Thomas Agyepong will definitely miss today’s 3 pm Premiership fixture against Celtic due to various but minor medical conditions.

Meanwhile, Martin Boyle, Daryl Horgan, Jamie Maclaren, and Steven Whittaker should feature even though they have been nursing niggly knocks.

New signing Charalampos Mavrias might not be in Hibs starting XI, however, expect him to make his club debut at some point.

Celtic are without Kristoffer Ajer, Nir Bitton and Mikey Johnston.

Neil Lennon’s pre-match press conference

“We are second in the table on merit. We are on a good run at the minute and keeping clean sheets,” said Neil.

“That could all change against Celtic, and I get that, but all I am looking for is a performance and a good mentality from the team.”
