Allan Named Supporters’ Player Of The Year

Midfielder Scott Allan has been named the Supporters’ Association Player of the Year for 2014-15.

At the Sunnyside awards ceremony on Sunday evening the 23 year old picked up the Supporters’ nomination for Player of the Year alongside striker Jason Cummings who bagged the Young Player of the Year gong.

Speaking to the Official Site Allan said of the honour.

‘To win the award is a special honour and I would like to thank all the supporters that voted for me – it genuinely means a lot. I`ve really enjoyed my first season here with Hibs and any recognition that I do receive is down to the help of my team-mates and the coaches at the club.’

Allan went on to say that if it hadn’t have been for his colleagues he wouldn’t have been able to perform as he has done this season, and he also thanked the club staff behind the scenes that rarely get a mention for all they do in the running of the club as well.

‘Now we`re aiming to kick on and make sure this is a successful season that everybody enjoys.’
